Enjoy the delicious dishes in “Delhi Ke Pakwan” in Connaught Place

New Delhi, December 23, 2022 :  The “Dilli Ke Pakwan” festival has started in the heart of Delhi’s Connaught Place for the foodies.

The festival was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Delhi, Shri Arvind Kejriwal through video conferencing today. In this festival, people will be able to enjoy the special dishes of Delhi and other states at one place.

In this festival organized by social organization Delhi Students Talent Association and Big Shows in collaboration with Delhi Government on Baba Khadag Singh Marg (in front of the ancient Hanuman Temple) where people will get special dishes of Delhi and other states, especially the delicious dishes of Old Delhi. On the other hand, efforts have been made by the organizers to showcase the history of Delhi and the culture of different states in the festival.

Manmeet Singh, head of Big Shows, told that historical delicious dishes of Delhi are being served at the ceremony. The special thing in this is that whether it is Chandni Chowk’s Gol Gappa or Bhalle-Papri, Moong Dal Laddoos, Doodh Jalebi or Daulat’s Chaat, Tilak Raj’s Kulfi, Sardarji’s Samosas, Falooda Kulfi or Parantha Street. Paranthas, or Karnal’s Matturam Jaleba Wala, Tandoori Tea, Rajasthani Food, Litthi Chowkha, all the flavors are available for you at the ‘Delhi Ke Pakwan’ function. If you are a non-vegetarian then Mughal food Kebabs of Old Delhi, Kareem’s Biryani, Chicken Chingingeji, Lucknow’s Wahid Biryani Wala and other items are for the people.

According to Mr. Manmeet Singh, special arrangements have been made for the entertainment of people in this ten-days event from December 23 to January 1. Various competitions (cooking, singing, dancing), live stage performance, selfie point, games, kids zone, Swings etc. have been installed. Apart from this, there will be celebrity performances daily. Christmas will be special on 25th December.
