New Delhi, December 16, 2024 : A round table discussion on “Role of the Private Sector in Transforming Higher Education in India and Felicitation of MPs, MLCs, and Senior Educationists, was held at The Park Hotel, New Delhi, today.

Sh. P. Palanivel, Secretary General, Education Promotion Society for India, said “Good morning to every one and thank you to all speakers, delegates and media personnel, who have come from all across the country to share their knowledge and experience.”

Dr. M.R. Jayaram, President, EPSI, Chancellor, Ramaiah University, spoke about private sector in education’s contribution towards India’s progress.

Prof. Anil D. Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, National Board of Accreditation was chief guest.

Shri Gurucharan Gollerkeri, Director, M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Dr. Vedprakash Mishra, Pro Chancellor, Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education and Research, Dr Amit Banerjee, Chancellor, Siksha O Anusandhan, Prof Victor Gambhir, President, JECRC University, Prof. N J Pawar, Vice Chancellor, Dr D Y Patil Vidyapeeth and Dr Ajit Parulekar, Director, Goa Institute of Management also participated in the conference.

Dr. H Chaturvedi, Alternate President, EPSI, DG, IILM Institute for Higher Education, Dr Prashant Bhalla, Sr Vice President, EPSI, President, Manav Rachna Education Institutions, Dr G Vishwanathan, Chief Patron, EPSI, Founder & Chancellor, VIT University, Prof. T G Sitharam, Chairman, AICTE and Dr M R Jayaram, President, EPSI, Chancellor, Ramaiah University, discussed on Leadership and Excellence in Education.

A number of MPs from Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha also share their views on the subject.
