New Delhi, May 10, 2024 – Gallery Pristine Contemporary, a beacon of contemporary art founded by Arjun Sawhney and Arjun Butani celebrated the much-anticipated preview night on May 9th of their second show in as many months, The Cult of Consciousness. The show is on until the 19th of May, ‘24, at Alliance Francaise, located in the heart of Delhi.
The show features talented artists from across the South Asian continent such as Haneen Al Moosawi, Ahsan Memon, Shakil Solanki, Sivasubramaniam Kajendran and Varad Ajay Bang. The preview evening was held on the 9th of May, at Alliance Française, Delhi.
Curated by founder-gallerists Arjun Sawhney and Arjun Butani, the show explores the intricate relationship between art, perception, and the human mind. It aims to reawaken our senses, inspire contemplation, and foster a deeper connection with our own consciousness.
The opening night witnessed a resounding success, with art enthusiasts, collectors, and noteworthy persons from the art-couture and design fraternity such as Roshini Vadehra, Varun Bahl, Gautam Seth and Prateek Jain, Founders of Klove Studio, graced the event. The evening also saw the presence of esteemed guests such as Abha Bakaya, Founder of Ladies Who Lead, Roshni Jaiswal, Vicram Sharma, Director of the Baidyanath Group, Nikhil Khanna, Founder of Avian Media. Deepa Sama, Anita bajaj, Nitya Bharany, Ayesha Dalvi, Yashasvini Jindal, Selena Bijli, Tarana Sawhney, and Jayati Puri, among other distinguished attendees who were immersed in the artwork, and engaged in insightful conversations with the artists.
Gallery Pristine Contemporary extends its gratitude to its pouring partners, Smoke Lab, who’s refreshing vodka and gin cocktails kept everyone refreshed, along with the Smoke Lab natural spring water, advocating for sustainability through their eco-friendly packaging. Woodsmen whisky also provided some unique whisky based cocktails for event attendees.
